God’s love is unfailing. He has already done abundantly more for each one of us. He loved us beyond measure. He has given us his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross. This is the ultimate and perfect sacrifice. A sacrifice of a blemishless lamb for the sinners.
The work on the cross is the finished work. A sacrifice planned before the foundation of the world. A sacrifice planned for you and me because of God’s abundant love for us. A sacrifice to rescue us from sin. A sacrifice to redeem us from the wages of sin which is death.
Instead of death, we now have eternal life. Instead of being destined to remain a slave, we have now become inheritors of God as God’s sons and daughters seated in heavenly places.
Today sin does not have dominion over me. I am imperfect. Yet I am perfected as I have received the cleansing. We have freedom! God’s love has given us freedom to enjoy and celebrate a victorious life, freedom to live as sons and daughters of the most High God.
The fruit our lives produce because God’s Spirit is in us – an ever present help in terms of the comforter and counsellor – abiding in us. Oh so great a love. So amazing – this transforms us inside out. The fruit we get to produce now is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience..- Galatians 5:22
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. ( version NIV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (version NKJV)
Nothing can separate us from love of God
The love of God towards us is so beyond imagination, that nothing can ever separate us from Gods love. No location, no situation and circumstances, neither sin or sickness.
38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things [n]impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,
39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (version NKJV)
God’s love for your peace and righteousness to increase
As we choose to receive God’s love, we get redeemed – free from being a slave, free from paying the wages of sin which is death. In this new-found freedom, God is ever present with us, guiding us and leading us. He leads us in the path of righteousness, he leads us in the way we should go. Oh, what a great joy it is to have peace like a river – ever flowing and righteousness like the waves of a sea. The following verses are from Isaiah 48
17. Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.
18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. (version NKJV)
God’s loving kindness endures forever
The psalmist says I will sing unto God because God has dealt bountifully with me. Start counting your blessings, the mercies you have received, and have a daily routine of thankfulness to God.
The reason he says he is confident in the loving mercy and loving kindness of God because he takes care to remember the majesty of creation of God, remember God’s goodness towards us. Being part of the New Testament generation, we are fortunate to experience God’s loving kindness in His sending Jesus Christ for our salvation and redemption. In Experiencing the Holy Spirit as an ever present help.

20 And Og king of Bashan, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
21 And gave their land as a heritage, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
22 Even a heritage to Israel His servant, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
23 To Him Who [earnestly] remembered us in our low estate and imprinted us [on His heart], for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
24 And rescued us from our enemies, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
25 To Him Who gives food to all flesh, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
26 O give thanks to the God of heaven, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
May you be bathed in God’s unfailing love and mercy, goodness and peace, joy, power and wisdom all the days of your life.
