Both seem similar to many, but differences become apparent as we dig deeper and think more about it.
God’s Word is the truth. It’s absolute. It does not change with time, as God’s Word is eternal.
Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
On the other hand we have true facts and statements that will become untrue depending on some or various other factors.
For instance, it’s true that today is Tuesday. But in eight hours the above statement becomes wrong…as it becomes midnight and switches to the new day.
But the choice to accept the truth and live a wholesome life is ours. Many of us know that as we follow the owner’s manual and instructions the equipment we bought will serve us best with no breakdown.
But how many make the effort to read the owner’s manual, skim through it or read it.
But in spite of not reading the user manual, many of us are able to use the equipment based on logic and reading and hunch. But when we encounter some issues and problems with the equipment we are quick to search out the user manual or google or even describe the issue in youtube and add the brand name and search. We find the solution and correct the way we use the equipment. And once again we continue using the equipment without any hiccups.
Sometimes we wonder if only we had taken the time and effort to read the user manual earlier we would not have faced the issues and troubles we had encountered.
