Prayer declarations for a sound mind

Whatever your state of mind, you can make a willful choice to have a renewed mind by declaring aloud these truths continuously. If you can do so at least twice and try to remember even one of these decorations, you will experience the progress to having a sound mind.

Remembering what you have allowed your eyes to see and your ears to hear affects your mind. Once you start declaring, you will be reminded to stop watching and hearing things not pleasing to God.
(refer to Philippians 4:8)

My hope and trust are in God alone.
It’s not in riches or any man.
It’s not in my wisdom, my strength, my looks.
God is with me, and He never leaves me.
He is all sufficient for me.
He is my strong tower and my fortress.
He is my shield and my protection.

I have a spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind from God.
My thoughts, words, and actions are expressions of God’s power and love.
(based on 2 Timothy 1:7)

I do not have a spirit of fear.
God has not given me a spirit of fear.
I reject every influence of the spirit of fear and anxiety in my life.
(based on 2 Timothy 1:7)

The Holy Spirit teaches me all things.
He reminds me of all the things that Jesus has said.
( based on John 14:26)

My mind is not conformed to this world:
but I am transformed by the renewing of my mind.
that I may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I set my mind on things above
Not on the things of the earth.

As I confess my sins.
God forgives my sins and makes me righteous.
So I don’t carry any burden of sin.
The finished work of the cross of Jesus Christ has redeemed me.

I am in Christ Jesus.
So He that is within me.
Is mightier than he that is in the world.
( based on I John 4:4) (Note the small “he” denotes the evil one in the world.)

I am led by the Spirit of God,
So I am one of the sons of God.
( based on Romans 8:14)

I ask Father God with expectation to receive
The spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of God,
The eyes of my understanding to be enlightened that
I may know the hope of His calling
( based on Ephesians 1:17,18)

I pray to Father God
I may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will
In all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
That I may fully please God,
Being fruitful in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God.
( based on Colossians 1:9, 10)

All these I prayerfully declare in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

As you journey to forming a sound mind, earnestly remind yourself that you fill your mind with everything that pleases God alone. Here is a verse that advises you so.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. ( Colossians 3:16)

If and when you start getting blessed by these declarations, share these with your near and dear, your relations, and friends.

Be blessed.
