These prayers are unique, as they are from the Holy Bible, thus inspired by the Holy Spirit.
These are taken from Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians.
The first prayer is from Chapter 1. Paul graciously prays for the Christians in Ephesus. However, here I have paraphrased it as an individual prayer. At a later point do consider praying this for fellow Christians whom you know, as this is what Paul encourages us to do. The second prayer is from Chapter 3. This prayer is for Spiritual growth.
Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom (prayer from Ephesians Chapter 1: 3, 17 to 23)
Father God, I thank you for blessing me with all Spiritual blessings in Heavenly places, as I am united with Christ.
I pray that you would grant me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing You better.
May my heart be flooded with light by the Holy Spirit so that I would know the confident hope of Your call for me and the riches of your glorious inheritance in the saints.
I also pray that I would know and understand the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of Your power in and for me.
Lord, my anticipation and excitement is great, knowing that this is the same mighty power which You exerted in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places.
Lord, I desire to be in a place of Peace and Assurance as I know that Jesus Christ is far above all rulers, authorities, powers, leaders or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.
I want to be always aware that You have put all things under the authority of Christ and have made Him the head over all things for the benefit of the church, which includes me.
I believe that the church is the body of Christ. I believe that the Church is made full and complete in Jesus Christ.
Prayer for Spiritual Growth (prayer from Ephesians Chapter 3: 14-21)
Father God, the Creator of heaven and on earth, I pray that from your glorious, unlimited resources You will empower me with inner strength through Your Holy Spirit.
I pray that Jesus Christ will make his home in my heart as I trust in Him.
May my roots grow in God’s love and keep me strong, that I would have an understanding of how wide, how long, how high, and how deep is Your love.
I want to experience the love of Christ which I know is too great to understand fully.
I pray that I will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power from God.
All glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within me, to accomplish infinitely more than I can ask or think.
Glory to God in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. (so be it)
