Be ready in season and out of season

Be ready in season and out of season

Our life and actions have an impact. If we walk on the narrow path and please God, the influence and blessings will be beyond imagination. These blessings is bound to overflow to our family, our neighborhood and our city depending on how fervent we are, how consistent we are, and how determined we are to have an ongoing relationship with him and walk with him.

Having a daily Bible Reading habit, weekly attending church service, praying daily, living a life obedient to the laws and commands. Nurturing an ongoing relationship with Jesus and daily conversation with the Holy Spirit is important.

Do you grieve or quench the Holy Spirit of God?

Do you grieve or quench the Holy Spirit of God

The Holy Spirit is the third person in our triune God – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is our comforter and our counselor (advisor). Jesus told that it is good that He is going, so that Holy Spirit will be sent to be with us and for us. The person of the Holy Spirit has such a very unique and special place of honor. We should therefore neither be quenching the Holy Spirit, nor should we be grieving the Holy Spirit. But unless we understand what these mean, we may not know if we slip into this wrong doing.

Can you resist the forbidden?

We know about the forbidden tree in the garden of eden.

Do you know Joseph, the son of Jacob? His brothers envied him as Jacob loved him most and had given him a coat of many colors. Joseph was bon in Jacob’s old age, thus Jacob had a soft corner for him and loved him more.

Joseph was also Rachel’s first born. After barrenness for a long time, God blessed Rachel with her first child in Joseph.
