God loves us. He loves us dearly. That’s the reason God allowed His son to die on the cross for redeeming us from our sins and for our salvation.
Yet often we forget these great truths and are bogged down by issues, sorrows and anxieties, because of lack of faith, not knowing the promises of God. Its important even when situations are not clear to trust in God with all your heart. Psalm 30:11 gives a very encouraging verse where God flips us from mourning to rejoicing. The verse is given below from 3 versions – so that the richness of the verse is relished by your heart as you build expectation from God. Read the verse twice from all the three versions.
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; (version KJV)
Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory-garments of gladness.(version TPT)
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, (version AMP)
The Psalmist thanks the Lord for the great transformation. Earlier he was wailing, he was mourning. Even when he was going through the situation that demanded sorrow, the psalmist decided to offer sacrifices of praise unto God.
Only on Earth can you make a choice to offer sacrifice of Praise. When you offer praise even when you do not feel, it becomes a sacrifice of praise. As you do this, you will see the transformation.
The reason you can do so is that your God is unchanging. He’s good all the time. Sometimes its not easy to understand his goodness because your pain overwhelms you. But when you offer praise beyond understanding, it becomes a sacrifice of praise. It’s so precious. God transforms you as you offer this.
Be on this thought throughout the day and night!
