We need to remind ourselves of our identity in Christ. We know we need to follow the user manual to get the best result of the equipment we buy. We know that a manufacturer knows the equipment best, for a long and useful usage of the equipment.
We believe God made us, it’s only right that we fulfill the purpose He created us to be.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; ”(NKJV Jeremiah 1:5a) You can see that God formed you. Much of the declaration statements are based on the New Testment book, Epistel to the Romans, chapter 8. As you prayerfully develop a routine of declaring these, you can see the transformation.
I am in Jesus Christ. There is no condemnation for me. (Romans 8:1a)
The righteous requirement of law is fulfilled by Jesus Christ for me. (Romans 8:3,4)
I walk according to the Spirit of God.
I do not walk in accordance with the flesh. (Romans 8:1b)
I set my mind on the things of the Spirit of God. (Romans 8:5b)
I choose to be spiritually minded, it gives me life and peace. (Romans 8:6)
The Spirit of God dwells in me.
This is the very same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. (Romans 8:11)
I am led by the spirit of God, I am among the sons (/daughters) of God. (Romans 8:14)
I have the full acceptance from God, I cry out Abba, Father to Him as His child. (Romans 8:15)
I am a child of God.
I am amazed that I am among the heirs of God.
It is true that I have become a joint hier with Jesus Christ.
My understanding of the richness of this inheritance increases every day. (Romans 8:14)
I am convinced that any suffering I endure is nothing compared to
the glory to be revealed to the sons (/daughters) of God like me. (Romans 8:18)
I know that the whole universe is yearning to see,
the unveiling of God’s glorious sons (/daughters) like me. (Romans 8:19)
I wait and persevere as I hope for what I do not see. (Romans 8:25)
I know that all things work together for good, as
I love God and
am called according to His purposes. (Romans 8:28)
God foreknew me and predestined me to be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:29)
Since God is with me, who then can ever stand against us? (NOTE: us as it’s me and God) (Romans 8:31)
In all situations, I am (/we are) more than a conqueror (/s) through God’s love for me. (Romans 8:37)
I live in the confidence that nothing will separate me from the love of God in Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:39)
