We live life on earth, as citizens of Heaven on an assignment here on Earth. Our assignment is to bring Heaven on Earth through Jesus Christ, our redeemer. In this process, we get transformed into His image. We know that God created us in His image and His likeness. This is a process of transformation.
We progress in our assignment as we progress into being transformed into His image. Hence, they cover a wide range of canvas as the journey is resplendent and colourful in its variety. You will enjoy reading these, not necessarily agreeing to them – that is not a prerequisite to enjoy it.
Many like me have not claimed this treasure, even though Jesus spoke of this mind-blowing storehouse of truth, knowledge, awareness, and wisdom that was placed within our reach. I feel that we have been like a poor person, unaware of the large amount credited to his bank account.
Jesus Christ calls us his friends. A person does not tell a servant everything. Only on a need-to-know basis are matters disclosed.
But Jesus has told us everything. Jesus goes on to say that everything His Father has told him, he has also told us. I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father. (John 15:15 version AMP)
The last World Cup match we watched as a family. We are not a football-passionate family. But the World Cup excitement indeed rubbed off on us. We don’t have a TV connection because we opted out of it as a family. So the only way we could watch the last World Cup finals was by going to the theater. The live broadcast was being broadcast in a large screen. We did not want to lose the opportunity. So we went as a family. Before we stepped into the car for the drive to the theater, a thought came to me, and I shared that France was going to win the World Cup. That seems to be the impression the Lord gave me. I was surprised. All this time, I was known to support Croatia.
