Discipline of a Christian
As Christians we are to pray and read the Bible daily. Ideally we are to have a quiet time with God daily, hear Him daily. We are to praise and worship Him daily at home. We are to have a daily quiet time at home. We are to go to church and worship God as a community. We are to have Holy Communion as often as possible. We need to forgive ourselves and others. We need to be obedient to what the Lord directs us to. We need to be willing to sacrifice as well as share and be charitable. We need to love ourselves and others. And many more.
All these may not be our default nature, but we can choose to discipline ourselves in all these. Most importantly we need to love God above all and be fully confident about His great love towards us. We have this verse from Proverbs 3:5-6 which says this. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. All these are elements of a disciplined Chritian life. With discipline complemented by faith we can develop a consistent lifestyle which pleases our Lord and saviour.

We live life on earth, as citizens of Heaven on an assignment here on Earth. Our assignment is to bring Heaven on Earth through Jesus Christ, our redeemer. In this process, we get transformed into His image. We know that God created us in His image and His likeness. This is a process of transformation.
We progress in our assignment as we progress into being transformed into His image. Hence, they cover a wide range of canvas as the journey is resplendent and colourful in its variety. You will enjoy reading these, not necessarily agreeing to them – that is not a prerequisite to enjoy it.

Brief about Declarations for hope
We are people with great hope always. Every day, under all circumstances we are people of hope since Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. No longer sin or our shortcomings and our past have control over us. Jesus has redeemed us from all of our sins. Through the resurrected Jesus Christ, sin, sickness, and the devil are defeated totally. We are free, victorious, and more than conquerors. (Romans 8:35-37)
But some of us do not know why we should be hopeful or have a great track record of impossible situations when our God gave us breakthroughs. The Bible tells us to rejoice in all circumstances. As people filled with hope, we rejoice. We have hope even if the Pharos armies are behind us and the river is ahead of us. Yet all of Israel crossed on dry ground through the dry ground of the Red Sea. The Pharaoh and his soldiers were drowned. Even in tough circumstances, we are hopeful, as our trust is in the Lord. Even in drought, we are like trees watered. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Make these declarations aloud. Believe them as you declare them daily. A person filled with the joy of the Lord knows: For with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). Hence filled with hope and sees possibilities.
