The Holy Bible is divided into two. One set of books is called the Old Testament, the other set is the New Testament. Many do not know the essential difference. When we know better, we can apply that understanding to get greater fruitfulness from our lives.
Why?
So that, (1) We bring glory and honour to the Lord to a better extent.
(2) We have a fulfilling life as per the plans and purposes of God.
As always, try answering all the questions based on what’s stated in the Bible, one by one, taking care that you cover the answers and your eyes do not stray into accidentally looking at the answers. Even asking your family and friends before you go to the answers can increase excitement, learning and joy.
Only if you try will your brain benefit in being sharp. If you try to read the answers without giving it a try, your brain will not appreciate nor retain the information, the joy will not be there. Do you prefer to eat healthy and nutritious food or do you prefer intravenous feed of nutrition?
The information retained should change your heart. Only when it is learned by the heart, do you have spiritual growth.
Once again, only after answering all the questions, one after another, venture to reading the answers.

A1) The Old Testament indeed gave us Moses and the laws. Whereas from the New Testament, we receive Jesus Christ. Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. ( John 1:17 NKJV)
A2) As per the Old Testament, once every year a sinner has to go to the temple with a blemishless lamb/animal/bird etc to sacrifice for the washing away of one’s sins.
Whereas in the New Testament, it’s the sacrifice of God’s lamb, Jesus Christ on the cross. As Jesus Christ was without sin, he was a blemishless lamb. He died on the cross for the sins of the world. Any time a person believes in his heart and confesses by his mouth that Jesus Christ is the lord and saviour of his/her life and believes in the crucifixion of Jesus for his/her sins, he is free from sin.
Thus the sacrifice of the New Testament is one time and superior. Jesus Christ instituted the Holy Communion so that we partake and remember the significance of the crucifixion of Jesus. All this so that we do not continue to live a sinful life.
A3) Undoubtedly it’s the New Testament. The New Testament is about Jesus Christ. The Old Testament points to Jesus Christ, God’s plan for the salvation of the world.
Only after reading the New Testament, those portions in the Old Testament, pointing to Jesus Christ may be read.
Thus in the Light of the New Testament, the Old Testament can be explored.
