Why these “I am declarations” ?
We are made in the image and likeness of God. The Bible verse in Geneses 1:26 points to this.
But the choice to accept the truth and live a wholesome life is ours. Many of us know that as we follow the owners manual and instructions the equipment we bought will serve us best with no breakdown.
God gave us free will. He did not want to impose obedience to make us like slaves and robots with no will. God’s great desire is to have us as His loving sons and daughters living life with freedom and authority as His children.
In the world, the lies of the enemy are heard without effort. But the truth of God’s word, the truth of our creator can be established as we take effort to declare God’s word over our lives.
Here as we make these declarations in faith, we make a definite effort, we make a push in that direction.
These declarations are based on the verses from the Bible – the Word Of God. Within 6 weeks of daily decorations, you are bound to be organised and be a systematic person.
“I am” prayer declarations in Christ
I am a precious child of God; my Heavenly Father loves me so much that He’s not spared His only son Jesus who shed blood and died on the cross for cleansing me from sin.(Ps. 82:6)
I am saved from eternal death into eternal life by the cross endured by
Jesus Christ, the blemishless lamb of God. (Ps. 82:6)
I am without sin because of the finished work of the cross.
I am not having a sin nature.
No sin has dominion over me.
I remind myself that the cross endured by Jesus Christ has defeated every sin nature and done with it once and for all.
I am partaker of God’s divine nature. I am having the Spirit of God reigning and ruling over me. (2 Peter 1:4)
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.(2 Corinthians 5:17)
I am God’s favourite, I am the apple of His eyes. ( Palms 17:8)
I am seen to be like Jesus Christ by my Heavenly Father as my acceptance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ has transformed me.
I am an earthen vessel carrying the treasure of Christ Jesus.. The excellency of power is of God. (2 Corinthians 4:7)
I am crucified with Christ. I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. (Galatians 2:20)
I am seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. (Ephesians 2:6)
I am full of hope and great expectations as I can do all things through Jesus Christ as He strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
I am free from anxiety as I have cast my burdens unto Jesus Christ who cares for me. (Psalms 55:22, Proverbs 3:5, Psalm 37:4-6))
I am a branch, Jesus is the true vine and my Heavenly Father the gardener. As I remain in Jesus and Jesus in me, I will bear much fruit; apart from Jesus I can do nothing. (John 15:1-5)
I am fruitful as my thoughts and actions bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, selfcontrol since the Holy Spirit abides in me. ( Galatians 5:22)
I am intentional to speak and act with love, showing patience, kindness, without envy, without rudeness, without evil, rejoicing in truth, bearing all things, hopes all things, enduring all things. ( 1 Corinthians 13)
I am joyful, I rejoice in the Lord always. I know that a joyful heart is good medicine. (Philippians 4:4, Proverbs 17:22)
I am in pure joy when I face trials and temptations of various kinds since I know that as I persevere, I mature and receive an upgrade from God. (James 1:2-4)
I am blessed with wisdom and understanding as I fear God. God gives wisdom to me generously as I ask Him. ( Proverbs 9:10, James 1:5 )
I am the light of the world because Christ is in me. I cannot be hidden as I am like a city that is set on a hill. (Matthew 5:14)
I am in the right place so that I give light to those around me. My light shall shine before men, that they may see my good works, and glorify my Heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:15-16)
All these I declare in faith in the matchless name of my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
