Question) What is the secret place? Where is it?
The secret place is a spiritual place. Your physical location is not defined nor can anyone travel to that location with GPS.
The state of your heart takes you to the secret place. It’s a place of love and intimacy with God. No enemy can either see you or reach you. No one can trouble you. No accusation affects you. You are shielded and protected. No plague, nor sword can ever come near you.

Those who think pure logic and reasoning can not even start the journey. It’s not about being foolish. It’s all about trusting in God and surrendering to Him. It starts with your knowing about His love. Being able to understand God’s love is huge.
The next step is a relationship with God nurtured by faith. Once you know and understand God’s love, a nurturing relationship with God should be aimed at. Knowing the Word of God, and reading it regularly helps. It requires knowing God’s heart and following it through. Regular discipline of prayer, praising God regularly, being thankful to God, and worshiping God. Knowing and remembering the promises and testimonies of Jesus Christ sustains the journey.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. ( Psalm 91:14, 15 AMPC)

These are the things that happen in the Secret Place.

3) One’s head gets lifted above my enemies
4) One would be offering sacrifices of joy in the place

Here is another perspective. When you practice all these, the place where you are becomes the secret place! So quit traveling, and practice the above. The chances are bright for you to reach the secret place. By and by you will meet all the criteria and reach the secret place after repeating and practicing these.
For in the day of trouble, He will hide me in His shelter;
in the secret place of His tent will He hide me;
He will set me high upon a rock.
And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me;
in His tent, I will offer sacrifices and shout of joy;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me!
You have said, Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]. My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence),
Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Work (Psalm 27:5-8 AMPC)
Question) Do we have the secret place mentioned in the New Testament?
Mathew 6:6 gives a clue about the secret place. But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open. (Mathew 6:6 AMPC)
The “secret place” is also conveyed as a place of “abiding in Christ”.
One of the verses relating to the secret place can be found in John 15:4-5
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me, you can do nothing. (John 15:4-5 NKJV)
We should desire a continuous communion with Jesus Christ, relying on guidance and strength from the Spirit of God. The relationship is maintained by trust and obedience and always being in connection with God. Fruitfulness comes when we abide in Christ. And when a person does not abide in Christ, no fruit comes out of that life.
So ongoing awareness of the presence of Jesus Christ is good. This awareness of the presence of Jesus shields us from every contrary plan of the enemy to disturb and destroy the fellowship with Christ Jesus.
