Today we have a very exciting verse – from the first book of the Bible.
Find below Genesis 13:15 from two versions of the Bible.
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (version KJV)
After Lot separated from him, God said to Abram, “Open your eyes, look around. Look north, south, east, and west. Everything you see, the whole land spread out before you, I will give to you and your children forever. I’ll make your descendants like dust—counting your descendants will be as impossible as counting the dust of the Earth. So—on your feet, get moving! Walk through the country, its length and breadth; I’m giving it all to you.” (version MSG)
Abraham had to separate from Lot before God showed him his inheritance land. Although the land was promised before Abraham left Iraq, the showing happened only when Lot was separated.
This verse is exciting as the inheritance land was only limited by the extent up to which Abraham could see.
Do you need to be separated from what has become part and parcel of your journey? You need to ask the Holy Spirit and find it. Fight between Lots servants and Abraham’s servants used to happen. This was the context in which Abraham decided to separate from his nephew Lot.
Another way of looking at it can also be from the spiritual realm. When you separate from matters which displease God, thus improving your spiritual walk, you can expect to see greater revelations. These can be an inheritance for you and many generations.
Be on this thought throughout the day and night!
